The Christian Life in a Word...

I like the fact the Bible is deep.It is not this book that is just filled up with tired old worn out clichés and simply comes to us with this one, two, three step plan to living your best life now. It is profound. There is enough truth in the Bible to cause anybody’s brain to begin smoking.I also appreciate the fact that it can be real simple. Consider what it tells us about the Christian life as an example. There is no question we could spend hours discussing what the Bible has to say about living for Christ. We could write books on what God wants from us. People do. But we also could pretty much sum it all up in a word.Love.If you want to know what the Christian life is about, it is about love. Not love in the way the culture defines it of course, but true love. Life is all about truly loving God and loving people.
