Meditations on Psalm 8

There are times when we are so proud as people of the way we have 'conquered' our environment and there are other times where we feel so frail and feeble and fearful because it is very clear we have not. Whether we are exercising dominion over the world around us or feeling small in comparison to it we should remember both are the result of the hand of God. Quoting David, "You are the One who has made man a little lower than God, and You are the One who crowns him with glory and majesty.  You make him to rule over the works of your hands, you have put all things under his feet."
