What can we do to keep our hearts fired up in an ice cold world?1.  Watch out for worldliness.  Worldliness is like dirt on an a fire, it chokes the zeal out of you.2.  Warm your heart with the love of Christ.  Love is like a holy transport.  "It fires the affections, steels the courage, and carries a Christian above the love of life and the fear of death."3.  Hate hypocrisy and pursue sincerity.  Treat falseness like you might a cancer.4.  Turn a deaf ear to the mocking of the world.  It is better to be reproached for doing good by the world than to be damned by God for doing evil.5.  Cry out to God for the strength to wait until Jesus returns.(From The Great Gain of Godliness)
